We are currently currently looking to add a ITS Engineering Designer to our team. As a ITS Engineering Designer, your responsibilities will include:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for fiber, ITS device communications, network communications, and signals
• Prepare project reports such as Required Traceability Verification Matrices (RTVM), Concept of Operations (ConOps), Project System Engineering Management Plans (PSEMP), and ITS Power Reports; may also prepare lighting-related reports, such as Lighting Design
• Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer;
• May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers
• Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks
• Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
• Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
• Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
• Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals

Requirements: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
