Job description

We are looking for a jeweler with at least 1 year of experience in one of the following categories:

• Metalsmith/Bench Jeweler
• Jewelry Assembly
• Jewelry Stamper

The Minimalist Magnolia team is a small, but established family run business that has been operating since 2014. We specialize in dainty, made to order pieces, primarily created in gold filled, but also sterling silver, 14k yellow gold, and 14k rose gold.

This position is for a part time jewelry tech, but there is a possibility of moving up to full time, if desired, during the holiday season (starting late October).

The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick learner, reliable, responsible, safety oriented, and has a fantastic eye for detail. We are looking for a positive, go getter who is searching for a long term position and would like to like to help take our business to the next level!

This person would be responsible for fabricating jewelry to customer specifications within our quoted processing times. Must be an efficient worker! You will be working closely with the lead jeweler to create daily orders.

We are a small team, so we all work together to keep the orders created and shipped in a timely fashion. This may mean helping out with different tasks from time to time.

The holiday seasons are particularly busy for us, specifically between early-November and mid-December, as well as late April/early May (Mother’s Day). Willingness to help out and put in some overtime and/or extra hours when order volumes increase, is greatly appreciated!

This is a part-time position, and part-time employees are eligible for:

• Paid days off (major holidays and your birthday!)

Preferred, but not required: experience working with and soldering gold filled metals.

Pay starts at $16 per hour for this position. Hours available would be between M-F 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Your ideal schedule (within the given hours) is open to negotiation during the interview process.
