Journeyman Carpenter Position

What RenoVista Construction does:

Basement Installations, Deck Installations, Kitchen Renovations, Bathroom Remodels, and
Doors and Windows. Most physical work is carpentry related only.

Towns we typically work in: Holliston, Medway, Millis, Franklin, Douglas, Uxbridge,
Marlborough, Northborough, Millbury, Shrewsbury.

Basic Requirements

*Attitude-NO EGO. Show up with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow. We can train you on the skills as needed. We are all here to learn and get better together.

*2-3 years of trade experience. (We will strongly consider those with carpentry experience first)

*Ability to measure, cut, and handle wood products.

*The rare occasion where a heavy item needs to be lifted up to 80 lbs.

*Open to tech. We use technology daily in our construction business and you will be required to take part in it.

*The following carpentry experience will be preferred:

-Trim Installations. Installing millwork such as trim, base molding, crown molding a plus, and doors and windows.

-Cabinetry - Installing various kitchen components and vanities.

-Framing - Basic framing knowledge including standard framing layouts.

-Blueprints - Very basic idea of how to read a floor plan.

-Proficient with a measuring tape.

-Owns basic hand tools and cutting tools.

-Ability to work with phone applications that elevate team and client construction experience.

Full-time Benefits (available after 3 month trial period)

*401k option

*After 6 months employment, 2 weeks of sick time and vacation combined

*7 major holidays paid

*Crew management fee - Production bonus paid for hours beat on projects. Reviewed monthly.

*Profit sharing option (Must collectively hit numbers on projects)

*Bonus for upselling work

*30 min paid lunch. (You must go on break and will be reimbursed)

*Paid training where applicable. (Be proactive on what you’d like training on and it will be approved as long as it applies to the company's direction)

*Initial commute is not covered but fuel is paid for travel in between projects at 50 cents per mile. (Must provide mileage log)

*Tool budget that accrues each month at 25 per month.

*21-25 per hour to start.

*3-month evaluation, 6-month evaluation, and 1-year review.
