Job description
Provide program management, business, and financial support to FAA program.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze and develop solutions for business problems
- Use computer hardware and software applications for cost model creation, preparation, and other automated data analysis systems
- Perform computer driven analysis of the economic, statistical, accounting, and financial principles and techniques necessary to support the management of procurements involving major systems acquisitions
- Responsibility for project budgeting, cost control, forecasting scheduling and reporting
- Work closely with the program office, development organization, stakeholders, and users to generate requirements and forecast financial needs and impact
- Manage communication of new functionality impact to service consumers and interface systems
- Develop transition plans for existing service consumers impacted by changes to existing functionality
- Monitor modifications of stakeholder systems, assess impact, and advise program management on integration approaches and risk mitigation strategies
- Documentation Support – Develop and review release notes, site availability file, and requirements documents
- Develop, review, and validate operational concepts; perform functional analysis
- Project Reporting – Perform regular (weekly/monthly) and ad-hoc program reporting to the FAA including project accomplishments, schedules, and levels of effort
- Program Support – Host/coordinate weekly team meetings and track action items, develop program briefings, manage website content, and manage user communication
Qualifications
- Temporary remote work- Washington DC based
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office Products
- Strong analytical background
- Proficiency in use of FAA financial accounting tools/systems including, DELPHI, PRISM, and SPIRE preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Detail oriented, independent, self-motivated, and a proactive team member
- Excellent oral and written communication skills effective with operational, technical, and senior management audiences
- Leadership experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, Procurement and Contracting, or related field
Travel
- Project related travel and trade shows as required
