The Junior Level Acquisition Specialist will have a minimum of three years of experience in Federal Government acquisition and program support including knowledge and experience in:

• Federal Government acquisition procedures and policy.
• Under general supervision, performs tasks related to developing procurement request packages, monitoring acquisition and procurement lifecycle management activities, and use of PALT analysis while supporting program office activities.
• Provides acquisition support, to include preparing pre-award and award documentation for all types of acquisitions for services and supplies, including IT and assist in the execution of the full life-cycle acquisition requirement.
• Develops and reviews acquisition strategies, documentation, statements of works, source selection plans, and business cases that support acquisition decisions.
• Provides FOIA request support, invoice processing, post award conference support, preparation of files and correspondence.
• Supporting source selections and drafting source selection documents.
• Responsible for utilizing automated systems for tracking and monitoring acquisition

status, funding, implementation, and closeout.

• Shows initiative to solve problems and improve, advance, or enhance the business.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary functional acquisition teams.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with PRISM, IPPS and Merlin is desirable.
• Closeout experience for contracts valued is desirable.

The Junior Level Acquisition Specialist shall have a bachelor’s degree or higher. Substitution: Five years of direct relevant technical experience with high school diploma
