At Veterans Home Care, our Key Account Managers are responsible for building relationships with our referral sources across the country. This role helps grow our business by educating our referral sources and addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
Their primary responsibilities are:
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Generate quality referrals and sales growth among referral sources.
- Manage existing “New,” “B,” and “Q” agencies with direction from the Territory Vice President.
- Focus on dormant and active agencies to maximize their potential.
- Improve the referral quantity and conversion rate to Qualified Lead status by continuous coaching, training and co-marketing with referral sources in defined territory.
- Market the Companion products’ opportunity to referral sources.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with referral sources.
- Provide marketing tools and materials to referral sources in a timely fashion.
- Stay up to date on all Veterans Home Care products and procedures.
- Work with Territory Vice Presidents, Business Development Department and all other departments in a collaborative fashion.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities but does exercise independent judgement on a daily basis.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and/or remote office from home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma and some Sales experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Sales experience.
