The Port Orange Family YMCA is hiring in our KidZone! We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to look after our Y kids while family works out. Applicants must be dependable, caring, love children and respond to their needs in a safe and effective manner.

Our child care programs provide a nurturing environment under the supervision of our qualified, professional staff.

Job Specific Functions:

Assure the KidZone area is clean, presentable, and clear of hazards at all times.

Remain calm in challenging situations. Always put the needs of the children first and provide responsible care for the children under your supervision throughout their time in KidZone.

Model and encourage the development and practice of the YMCA character values (Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility), performing all assigned duties with energy and enthusiasm.

Compensation based on experience

Part time position

Drug and background screening are required.
