We are currently hiring for a full-time cook, kitchen aid, and dishwasher

Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring our residents and staff receive high-quality nutritious meals every day. Food is prepared in accordance with current federal, state and corporate standards, and guidelines and regulation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serves residents in an efficient, friendly manner.

· Performs job safely, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

· Ensures food is attractive and tasty before serving. *All food must be at the correct temperature and tasted by the cook before serving.

· Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils.

· Ensures all food safety standards are met.

· Uses approved recipes, utensils, and production standards to guarantee quality, serving temperature, and standard portion control.

· Ability to carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from the workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.

· Prepares and preps meals for the following day.

· Resolves residents’ concerns and reports information to the supervisor.

· Participates in safety and in-service meetings.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
