BioNTech US is seeking a creative and motivated Lab Technician to support our rapidly growing and dynamic organization. Reporting into the Associate Director of Lab Operations, the Lab Technician will assist in day-to-day lab operations and have the primary responsibility for ensuring the labs and equipment are running in an operative, clean, and efficient manner.

BioNTech US is seeking a creative and motivated Lab Technician to support our rapidly growing and dynamic organization. Reporting into the Associate Director of Lab Operations, the Lab Technician will assist in day-to-day lab operations and have the primary responsibility for ensuring the labs and equipment are running in an operative, clean, and efficient manner.

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as the daily contact for lab requests
- Provide day-to-day laboratory operations support (consumables inventory, laboratory housekeeping, general management)
- Assist Lab Manager in oversight of laboratory activities’
- Assist in overseeing regular maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness in compliance with the Hygiene Plan
- Draft and review operational documentation
- Ensure laboratory activities are performed in compliance with procedures and safety guidelines when handling, storing and disposing of hazardous or bio-hazardous materials
- Support the Laboratory Operations Managers with as needed laboratory tasks and ad hoc projects
What you have to offer.
Minimum Requirements; Bachelor’s Degree with 3 plus years of experience in a lab environment
- Project Management skills preferred
- Clear written communication
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred requirements: Bachelor's Degree in the life sciences, Biology or Chemistry
