Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have ACLS and BLS certifications, be comfortable floating, and have a preferred fetal monitoring certification. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent patient care and support to mothers and their newborns during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care and medication as prescribed by the physician.
• Assess the patient's condition and provide emotional support to the patient and their family members.
• Monitor the mother's vital signs and fetal heart rate to ensure a safe delivery.
• Assist with delivery and provide postpartum care to the mother and newborn.
• Document patient care in an accurate and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers, to develop and implement a patient care plan.
• Attend to patient needs and requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes in the patient's condition to the physician and other healthcare providers.
• Comply with all healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Must be comfortable floating.
• Preferred fetal monitoring certification.
• Must be able to work the Night 3x12-Hour shift (19:00 - 07:30).
• Must comply with the 75 Mile radius rule (locals accepted at a lower rate).
• COVID-19 Vaccine is required as per facility guidelines (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
• Flu Vaccine is required as per facility guidelines (No Exemptions).
