Title: Laboratory Technician III
Location: Tualatin, OR
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide input to ingredient specifications in a way that assures ongoing regulatory and internal compliance.
- Build Regulatory Ingredient information into internal database
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding use and function of ingredients
- Resolve technical questions with suppliers during the ingredient specification review and approval process.
- Work closely with Campbell Toxicologist, Food Safety, QA, and Product Development to obtain subject matter expert input needed on specifications
- Gather Global regulatory and other technical information from our regional partners pertinent to food specifications.
- Manage documentation to preserve integrity of files needed to substantiate labeling with regulatory agencies.
- Advise and educate internal stakeholders by disseminating key facts and presenting complex information in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. Use technical and business expertise to explain difficult concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communications to meet each.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or post-graduate training preferred
- General knowledge of the regulatory landscape (e.g., regulations, issues) that may affect the food industry. This includes knowledge of the major regulatory issues facing the industry.
- Familiarity with common food formulations and manufacturing processes.
