St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. DUTIES:

Performs general laboratory duties in the following areas: blood bank, urinalysis, coagulation, and chemistry. Performs other related duties as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualified candidates must possess a current New York State Department of Education license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT).
• Must have earned a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution. General laboratory experience (Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank) preferred.
