The LFS Group is looking for a Labratory Supervisor to direct the daily operations of the Laboratory and act as a generalist performing bench technology duties providing coverage when needed in two or more sections of the Laboratory.

Schedule:

• 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Days vary

Responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory testing in the areas of hematology, coagulation, chemistry, urinalysis, blood banking, and microbiology.
• Supervises all work performed.
• Reviews test results reports, organizes work flow and prioritizes the work load as needed.
• Direct the daily operations of the Laboratory and act as a generalist performing bench technology duties providing coverage when needed in two or more sections of the Laboratory.
• Communicate and collaborate with section supervisors to resolve any issues and to monitor consistency in established work processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution or have state recognized certification as a medical technologist.
• Four (4) years’ experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
• (Preferred) Master's Degree in science
• (Preferred) Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).
• (Preferred) Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
