SUMMARY:
The Graphics CAM2 Manager position at Camisasca, Inc. primary objectives are twofold. First to meet production goals and schedules, maintain established quality levels and ensure a safe working environment for all Associates. Emphasis shall be on safety, quality, productivity, cross-training and continued improvement in the areas designated. Second is the ability to work with Camisasca and Customer CI Guidelines to produce and safeguard artwork, private label custom packaging, in-house sales brochures, digital imaging, revision history and vector-based artwork. The position requires an ability to multi-task, prioritize, be self-sufficient, dependable, cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn, with a professional and supportive attitude.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure work assignments are in coordination with customer quality and delivery specifications, both internal and external. Assign daily job responsibilities for all direct reports.
- Understand the operation of various graphics equipment including CO2 Laser Engravers/Cutting, Digital Print Press, and Film Output processing, maintenance protocols, and documentation.
- Maintain equipment as required with regular maintenance and notify management of any maintenance or repairs as required.
- Oversee all operations of the graphic production equipment.
- Update work instructions, production order lists and other production documentation.
- Lead any ERD projects involving Laser or Printing. Reporting and documenting the results
- Provide leadership to ensure employees are performing tasks in an efficient and productive manner.
- Ensure Laser & Print Associates are trained in all aspects of the processes such as job set ups, regular maintenance, Vision Laser Cutting System, and any other areas within the department.
- Cross-train employees, both new and established, for specific department functions
- Ensuring accuracy of department KPI reporting including output accuracy and input accuracy by Associates
- Meet regularly with the Department Associates to go over their department KPI performance
- Work with OEM Automotive Marketing and Design Teams to create and/or revise CI artwork.
a. Read and understand Customer Corporate Identity Guides.
- Work with Aftermarket Sales and Marketing Teams on Design Projects.
- Support internal sales and marketing with artwork requirements.
- Be proficient with Adobe Illustrator and other types of Graphics software
- Be able to accurately color match in-house print production with customer specifications.
- Manage Department inventory assisting with Cycle Counts as needed
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of relatable experience
- Create, manipulate, and maintain customer provided and internally generated vector line art.
- Record maintenance skills
- Organized, able to multi-task and forward plan
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English
- Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety procedures
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Understanding of basic Inventory terms and inputs
- Ability to prepare, read and analyze report data/performance indicators
- Ability to manage maintenance and facility issues
- ISO experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift, carry and manipulate up to 50 lb. objects throughout the day
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and reach above shoulder level
- Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to load and unload material from trucks
- Indoor/Outdoor warehouse environment
- Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard
SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Must be able to multi-task
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe CC, SharePoint, PowerPoint
- Understanding of Corel Draw and Illustrator
- Fiery, Trotec Ruby & Wasatch Print Software experience a plus
