Job Summary
The Leasing Agent is a highly skilled sales professional, responsible for leasing homes to prospective residents. This may include converting leads into tours by following up with all prospects, preparing lease documents, qualifying prospective residents, and assisting throughout the move-in process by providing top customer service. The position comes with an outstanding commission plan, weekly pay, and benefits.

RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND VALID MARYLAND DRIVER’S LICENSE ARE REQUIRED.

Full Job Description

Essential Job Duties

• Lease apartments and assist with off-site marketing for approximately 40 scattered site communities in Baltimore City/County
• Conduct physical and virtual tours
• Maintain accurate records of photos, floor plans, property descriptions, amenities, etc. for all apartment homes
• Assist in weekly inspection and upkeep of show ready units and overall property appearance and curb appeal
• Follow all Fair Housing laws
• Complete and assist in the processing of rental applications
• Prepare and properly execute Lease Agreements and related forms
• Prepare and maintain resident files and general office files
• Complete or assist the Property Manager in maintaining up-to- date accurate reports, lease packages, market surveys, web sites and other correspondence
• Assist in collection of rents and deposits for new move-ins
• Submit work orders immediately after notification and follow-through for completion
• Be knowledgeable and able to assist in scheduling preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Be knowledgeable of move-in and move-out inspection procedures and execute according to company policies
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants and representatives of other companies
• Assist with the resident retention & renewal process
• Check all voicemails, emails, text messages, and internet leads when received and respond in a timely manner
• Consistently and accurately record all communication in property management software

Education and Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 years property management leasing experience required
• 5 years customer service experience required
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
• Strong sales and marketing aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Social media expertise is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50000.00 - $65,000 per year Commission Base Salary Comes with Starting Base Pay of $35,000 as well as $30 weekly gas card
