Simpson, Jensen, Abels, Fischer & Bouslog, P.C. is a medium sized law firm based in downtown Des Moines in need of a full-time legal assistant to work on matters relating to real estate, estate planning, probate, and corporate matters. Primary responsibilities for this position include: assisting with real estate closings, drafting estate planning documents, drafting pleadings and correspondence for probate administration matters, and drafting corporate formation and governance documents as needed. Additional responsibilities for this position may include: answering phones, greeting clients, maintaining attorney calendars, organizing legal files, handling mail, covering other staff absences, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Simpson, Jensen, Abels, Fischer & Bouslog, P.C. is an 11 attorney, 9 staff member law firm concentrating on mostly transactional matters including, real estate, estate planning, and corporate issues. Prior experience, although preferred, is not necessary. Training will be provided as a part of this position. A successful candidate will strive to maintain a positive attitude, be professional, and be prideful in their work product.
