Job description

• Responsible for performing intake services, providing casework or group work services for children and their families (if applicable),
• Conduct counseling/therapy sessions with children, making sure youth have transportation to and participate in independent living skills groups,
• Seek placements and assessment studies related to family foster homes and adoption, planning and coordinating the services and resources affecting children and their families.
• on call basis, at all times.

Shall be a Licensed LSW, or have either a master’s degree in social work or a related area of the study compared with the human services field or a Licensed Social Worker with a bachelor’s degree in social work or individuals with at least a Master’s degree in mental health or intellectual/developmental disabilities, or a related field and who has either (1) a professional license or (2) a DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Therapist with two years experience working directly with children. Must be available to assist in emergencies.

Salary: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
