Avalon Family Care is a family medicine practice in Madison, AL. This office currently has two providers and is seeking a Licensed Esthetician (part- time with intention of moving to full time) to help expand service offerings. Candidates must be compassionate, personable, provide exceptional aesthetic services and customer service, and be interested in working on a small team to grow a new practice.

Responsibilities:

• Offer customized facials to target specific skin problems.
• Explain all procedures and products associated with facials and other services.
• Discuss the importance of sunscreen and other skincare products.
• Demonstrate various facial treatments, including peels and microdermabrasion.
• Knowledge and understanding of all services and products
• Preparing for and and cleaning treatment rooms and instruments
• Performing administrative tasks such as monitoring supplies, scheduling patients, posting on social media platforms, etc.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clinicians, nurses, allied health staff, administrative staff, frontline staff, patients, family members of patients, suppliers, and the public
• Ensuring patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process of improvements to prevent recurrences
• Ensuring total confidentiality of personal, health and financial data

• Must be comfortable working on a team
• Must be a reliable, self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot without assistance
• Must be good at multitasking
• Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
• Spanish-speaking (strongly preferred, but not required)
• Experience with laser technologies and facial machines (preferred)
