Job description

Heppner Insurance, a family owned health insurance agency, is growing and looking to hire someone with an active health insurance license for a full-time hybrid insurance agent/admin role. An ideal candidate is well versed in the Medicare industry and comfortable explaining Medicare basics, can discuss the benefits of multiple carriers, and is skilled at conducting one-on-one sales meetings both in person and virtually. In this role you will also be one of the first points of contact for all new and existing clients; answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling other administrative work.

Job responsibilities:

· Full Time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, in Maplewood, MN office with some twin cities travel on occassion

· Scheduling client appointments

· Answering phone calls

· Customer service

· Meet with current and prospective clients to discuss Medicare and facilitate enrollment

· Other tasks as assigned

A strong candidate will excel in these areas:

· Exceptional phone communication skills; comfortable making outbound calls

· Strong follow up skills, organized and detail oriented

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Comfortable networking and with face-to-face interaction; outgoing personality

· Sales orientated

· Ability to retain training and proficient use of technology

Active MN Health & Accident license is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
