Today, our Faith-Based senior living community offers skilled nursing, short-term rehab, independent living and assisted living apartments.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Job Summary:

• Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participates in its updating as required.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning activities of your shift as required.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift.
• Charts all accidents/incidents involving residents and follows established procedures.
• Perform all routine charting duties as required in accordance with our established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments.
• Give/receive the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.
• Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.
• Monitor your personnel to assure they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure that your assigned personnel follow established infection control procedures.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing in an approved program.
• Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.

• Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.

• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience.
