Job description
LifeMatters is looking for licensed LPNs with experience in providing nursing care to patients.
- Nurse must have strong communication skills to interact with patients, listen to their concerns, talk to their families, and solve any issues as soon as they arise.
- Organized and pay close attention to detail to facilitate this care.
- Take temperatures, dress wounds, record vital signs, collect blood and urine samples and prep patients for examinations, etc.
- Follow strict safety and privacy guidelines to maintain confidentiality and security in the workplace, and common responsibilities include providing medication, taking vital signs, administering injections, measuring temperature and blood pressure, filling out medical charts, and recording prescribed medications.
- Communicate any issues to the physician in charge, and may also be tasked with monitoring physical activities, handling hazardous materials, overseeing medical processes, and keeping instruments and materials available for medical staff.
- Work well in a team setting with other nurses, but also on their own with minimal supervision.
- Always have a friendly attitude and strive to provide excellent patient care.
