Pay Range ($65-$75K)
The Coleman Institute has been Virginia's leading outpatient addiction treatment center since 1998. Our unique accelerated detox programs, coupled with naltrexone therapy, have helped thousands of people free themselves from addiction to opioid pain medication, heroin and alcohol. Our practice in Richmond is multi-dimensional; a single team of professionals delivers addiction treatment services under the Coleman Institute and AppleGate Recovery brands. AppleGate Recovery specializes in medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction using buprenorphine, supported by counseling and supportive recovery services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Completes biopsychosocial assessment of patient to determine appropriate services following withdrawal management (e.g. IOP or residential)
- Develops aftercare plans and discharge plans
- Provides individual and group counseling sessions
- Involves families and significant others in patient’s recovery process whenever possible
- Coordinates recovery support services for patients within their community
- Tracks aftercare progress
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications | Education | Certifications:
- Licensure required LCSW, LMFT and LPC .
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patients with Substance Use Disorder
