Job description
The Lifeguard will administer all functions related to guarding the pool and controlling all activity on the pool deck and locker rooms as needed. They will have a direct focus on the safety of participants as well as retention of members through great customer service. All staff must strive to work cooperatively with fellow employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the YMCA.
Required: 1. 16 years of age 2. Current YMCA or ARC lifeguard Certification or willingness to acquire through YMCA trainings 3. Current CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, O2 certification or willingness to acquire through YMCA trainings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Lifeguard Certification (Preferred)
