Corporate office of an agricultural manufacturing company in the Englewood area is looking for an experienced and skilled Logistics Analyst to join our in-office team. Responsibilities:
Supply Chain
- Assist in the planning of inbound truck and rail movements for all ingredients into our facilities.
- b. Monitor and report on inventory levels at all plants.
- c. Assist the Rail/Traffic managers in coordinating rail/truck deliveries for multiple ingredients to our facilities.
Reporting and documentation
- Assist in compiling and disseminating the weekly shipment reports.
- Monitor and track annual volumes of contract progress for multiple ingredients.
- Assist in creating, managing and reporting of rail PO’s.
- Maintain documentation on regulatory paperwork, and insurance requirements for all inbound truckers.
Strategic opportunities
- Analyze truck rates for competitiveness across Midwest PMS dry and liquid commodities.
- Identify new motor carriers to increase freight availability on all products.
Supporting functions
- Coordinate with Rail/Traffics Managers and Commodity Manager regarding supply chain strategic planning and execution.
- Acquire a general knowledge of all Agra-Holdings transportation requirements to assist both Rail and traffic managers.
- Report all Rates for both Rail and Motor carriers to ensure market competitiveness.
- Assist in the management of Industry Track Agreements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
