Direct Drive Logistics is looking to hire an Outside Sales Professional for our Laredo, TX office. This position's territory will be selling primarily in Monterey, Mexico.

Responsibilities for Mexico Logistics Sales Executive include:
- Have a fundamental understanding of the processes and documentation requirements involved in Domestic/Cross-border operations
- Have a strong general freight market knowledge
- Build and manage relationships with potential and existing clients and carriers
- Create and present sales proposals
- Problem resolution with customers and carriers
- Daily communication with Inside reps
- Generate profitability and identify opportunities by negotiating and setting pricing strategy
- Communicate and implement strategy with customers
- Create and develop strategies and plans for effectively managing and growing preexisting accounts and developing new accounts.
- Assist in the coordination of freight with the operations team
- Conduct cold calling to obtain new business and grow existing business
- Conduct viable analysis of competitor’s offerings and strategies.
Additional requirements:
- Preferred at least 1-2 years in Mexico Cross-Border Logistics Sales
- Driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated to succeed
- Attention to detail, sense of urgency and excellent organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work in a team environment, while delivering independent results
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Spend 1 week a month visiting current customers in Monterrey, MX and developing new business.
- 50 cold calls a day to potential new customers.
· The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and is self-motivated, has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is well organized.
