This position will assist the Logistics Manager and Office Manager with operational tasks, which include shipping and receiving coordination, weekly inventory walkthroughs and completing quote requests. The desired candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and is flexible with day to day tasks.

The individual’s personal style will need to be suited to a culture which is team based, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and value-driven with high corporate standards. The individual will need to be very comfortable working in a lean, matrixed, highly customer-focused organization with strong ethical standards

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• All aspects of shipping and receiving
• Managing job staging
• Heading inventory counts and maintaining orderly inventory
• Provide requested quotes to customers
• Completing customs paperwork for international orders
• Scheduling online safety coordination
• Process timesheets and expenses reports
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly & safe fashion

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience beneficial.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.

Fluid Quip Mechanical

Fluid Quip Mechanical (FQM) fully supports ethanol plants mechanical needs ranging from field service to assisting in preventative maintenance planning. FQM’s operations include field service, shop rebuild, inventory/logistics, and plant reliability teams. FQM teams support new Fluid-Quip equipment commissioning, field equipment upgrades, in-house and field equipment rebuilds and parts supply across the Midwest. The FQM base of operations is in Columbus, WI with the inventory warehouse and shop for repairs and rebuilds. FQM also has multiple fleet vehicles and teams to service customer equipment in the field.
