The Logistics Coordinator Representative will posses superior customer service skills through proactive management of orders from receipt through delivery, and by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Finance team members to exceed customer expectations. As a key part of our Sales and Marketing team, this individual will monitor orders and communicate with customers from order to shipment.

Responsibilities we want you to take care

Create sales orders from incoming customer orders via email, fax and EDI within one day of receipt

  • Send order confirmations to customer upon completion of sales order
  • Review open sales orders to ensure timely fulfillment to customer
  • Create customer invoices and send to customers within one day of shipment
  • Manage phone system, customer calls and track customer service requests.
  • Cross train with other functions as identified to provide backup to cover vacations or vacancies
  • Other administrative tasks/duties assigned by manager.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and customer service skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
  • Manage multiple tasks and high-volume workload to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, quick turnaround environment.
  • Outstanding follow-through, time management and planning skills to deliver results.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, producing high quality work.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to new processes and procedures.
  • Results-oriented, team player who projects a positive attitude.

Education and Experience

  • 5 years of order management or related experience in similar industry required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Working knowledge of logistics, supply chain and order management processes highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
  • Experience using an ERP system, such as SysPro strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of EDI (Redtail, Cleo, etc), Retail Link (WalMart) strongly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
