Logistics Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is in the search of a Logistics Coordinator for their client in Rolling Meadows, IL. This is a contract to hire position that is 100% on-site, Monday – Friday. The right candidate will be able to safely and efficiently preform assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in the search of a Logistics Coordinator for their client in Rolling Meadows, IL. This is a contract to hire position that is 100% on-site, Monday – Friday. The right candidate will be able to safely and efficiently preform assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.
Responsibilities:
- Complies carrier and route assignments
- Process all documentation to 3rd party partners and internal warehouses
- Drive process efficiencies and customer satisfaction through on time delivery management
- Control delivery costs
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service, quality personnel, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Logistics discipline preferred
- 2 years or more of related work experience or logistic training needed
- Strong sense of urgency and organization
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
- Good written and verbal skills
- Computer knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, TMS, and ERP
