Axis Global Logistics is seeking a CLient Services Rep for their Piscataway, NJ location. The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact with major clients. He/she serves as a single point of contact for customer account interaction and discrepancy resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Professionally and effectively communicate with clients on an ongoing basis

2. Identify customer’s needs and select appropriate service level to satisfy customer’s requests

3. Track and monitor the integrity of shipments in the system

4. Provide customers with status updates including any delays on their shipment

5. Input orders into the system and set up jobs accordingly

6. Create templates for invoicing and billing for accounts; provide customer with all pertinent paperwork

7. Coordinate with warehouse on an ongoing basis; serve as a liaison between warehouse, sales person and client to deliver maximum service

8. Generate quotes for specific fulfillment requests; provide the best fulfilment solution on an as needed basis

9. Interacts with the Transportation team to ensure all specifications and timelines are being met

10. Manage relationships with all key stakeholders on an ongoing basis

11. Adhere to all needs and/or special requests and/or SOP’s specific to each account

12. Coordinate with general contractors on site throughout the shipping process to ensure proper delivery and level of service

13. Manage Inventory

14. Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate’s Degree

· 2+ years of Customer Service experience in transportation/Logistics

· Ability to communicate thoroughly and professionally with all internal/external parties

· Ability to be highly organized/detail-oriented

· Ability to multi-task, problem solve and function in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TMS system.

·Proficient in a WMS (warehouse management system)

·Inventory knowledge i.e., FIFO or LIFO

· Able to manage inventory for clients

· Setting up SKU’s and entering orders in our WMS Pick tickets
