Capital Express, a leading provider of customized final mile logistics solutions, is looking for an Operations Manager in Mankato. Our environment is fast paced and the company is growing rapidly. Salary $57,000 - $62,000/yearly depending on experience

Previous experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, may require some on-call weekend responsibilities.

Must past background check and drug screen.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Associates Degree or combination of education and experience,

· Experience in the transportation industry with a deep knowledge of operations and logistics.

- Experience with Microsoft Suite with emphasis in Excel.

· Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills.

· Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Suite

· Must be flexible, willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, in all types of weather.

- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. This positon will also fill in for warehouse associates and delivery drivers when staff is on vacation, as needed.

· Must pass background check, drug screen

· Must have valid driver’s license and meet minimum motor vehicle record standards.
