Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team as the main point of contact to our clients. This position is highly dependent on teamwork, communication, and details. Reliability and the ability to work in a well-organized manner are key components to being successful in this role. The logistics specialist reports directly to the Transportation Manager and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm

Starting Pay Range is: $ 14.00- $ 16.00 based on experience

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Communicate with internal and external customers via email and phone
• Coordinate and manage the scheduling of company truck drivers based on the daily pick-up and delivery schedule
• Partner with outside carriers to schedule the pick-up and delivery of products on a consistent basis
• Proactively communicate with customers on the status of shipments

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• No experience required – will train the right person
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication
• Must be able to problem solve and focus on details
