Distribution Supervisor

Up to $86,000 to start plus full benefits

As Distribution Supervisor, you will:

• Join a specialist in the Marine Transportation Industry
• Receive complete training
• Lead, oversee and implement traffic control operations for the terminal
• Supervise, plan and monitor inbound and outbound loads
• Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams
• Learn to use the database
• Perform inventory planning, inventory control and distribution operations analysis functions
• Complete all required documentation
• Provide leadership, guidance and direction to Junior Team Members
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Run routine and special reports
• Conduct routine and special analysis
• Uphold safety, quality and compliance standards as well as customer requirements
• Handle special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• At least 3 years of Logistics, Transportation and/or Distribution experience
• Related supervisory and/or Management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Pluses:

• +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• +++ Marine Transportation and/or Rail Transportation experience
• +++ SAP experience
