Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual for a Long-term Substitute English

Teacher at Milton High School. Come join our team in educating and guiding our students to success in

the future! A salary of two-hundred dollars per day (after 20 consecutive days) is offered and compensated

through Teachers On Call. This position will begin approximately December 8, 2022 and end

approximately February 24, 2023.

Qualifications:

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process.

Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. The successful candidate

will be able to: plan and prepare high-level, creative learning units that are engaging, relevant, address

student needs and are based on best practices; maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment; make a

positive and substantial contribution to the school and district; and assume a partnership role with

colleagues.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in English - 1300 and have the appropriate

position code for 9th – 12th grade students.
