Overnight Shifts, 11pm to 7am.

Provide Exceptional Customer Service (Highest Priority)
Our Parking Monitor's primary duty and responsibility is to do whatever you can to make customers feel welcome, safe, and appreciated. We can reflect positively on them by maximizing the parking available to their customers and by providing outstanding customer service as follows:
  • Speak to / greet everyone who comes within 15’ of you or makes eye contact with you.
  • Offer to assist customers with their heavy items (especially ladies, the elderly, disabled persons, people with small children, anyone who looks like they could use assistance).
  • Offer assistance to customers with wheelchairs.
  • Offer assistance to customers with mechanical problems, such as flat tires, dead batteries, and keys locked in the car ( this assistance should be limited to helping customers contact roadside assistance and waiting with customers, so they feel safe while waiting for assistance to arrive).
  • ALWAYS be Pleasant, Polite, and Professional with everyone you interact with – especially those who are upset, rude, or nasty toward you (be extra nice to them).
  • Provide Assistance to Client Operations As Requested by Management
Another essential duty and responsibility of our Parking Monitor is to provide support to our Clients operations. This duty may be different from one location to another, depending on Management and other site-specific factors. These differences will be explained to each Parking Monitor prior to being assigned to work at any location. The critical thing to keep in mind is that ABC Services of Maryland is here to serve our clients in whatever reasonable way they request unless you are specifically directed otherwise by ABC Services or our client.
  • Pick up litter and debris throughout the parking lot/garage.
  • Monitor and Enforce Clients Parking Policy As Directed by Management
It is the duty and responsibility of our Parking Monitor to constantly patrol the lot(s) /garage and make every effort to provide customers with the maximum amount of parking in the areas closest to the entrances and exits. We monitor and enforce our client's parking policy as directed by ABC Services Management and each Manager. In most cases, monitoring is done in the following ways:
  • Compliance with Time Limits for parking, as posted on signs throughout the parking areas.
  • Making rounds – walking through the parking lot/garage and recording information about vehicles in the garage on a log sheet. The log sheet provides a place for the Time, the vehicle’s location in the garage, and the License Plate Number, of each car being recorded.
