Scope of work is installing, servicing, and troubleshooting access control and CCTV equipment and systems. Work is performed out of Charlottesville, VA.
Low Voltage Electrician Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install cabling (ethernet, coaxial), card readers, mount equipment, door contact and strikes, intrusion detection, CCTV and AV equipment, and access control systems
- Possess a functional understanding of low voltage systems and relays
- Use diagnostic equipment/software and established troubleshooting techniques to isolate equipment failures and resolve performance issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other specifications
- Other duties as assigned
Low Voltage Electrician Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training preferred
- Current DCJS registration OR ability to get DCJS registration
- Holds a valid Drivers License, Social Security Card (or Birth Certificate)
- Reliable transportation
- Tools required for the job
- Ability to pass all pre employment screens
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
