Position Details:

• Part-time position
• Working 48 hours every two weeks
• 12 hour rotating shifts
• Every third weekend and rotating holidays

Current Offerings:

• $2,500 sign on bonus

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assume responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician in assigned areas including Medical/Surgical, OB, ER according to established standards and practices. You will provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the LPN as defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

To be successful in this position, you will need to work well both independently and with others, have the desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients and their families. You should have the ability to assess, problem solve and handles tasks as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school nursing
• Current Minnesota LPN license required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required

Sign-on bonus eligibility: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into an eligible full or part time benefited position. Casual and temporary/non-benefited positions are not eligible. Sign on bonus will only be awarded in cases where the applicant is external and has not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least the past nine months (current CentraCare/Carris employees are not eligible).
