Durex Industries is currently seeking an individual to fill a Product Fabricator II role that has intermediate knowledge of machining and the fabrication of metal components.

We require

· Ability to manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Ability to install and repair various equipment and components
- Be able to follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Form sheet metal using press breaks, rollers, sheer and other machines
- Use Bridgeport and lathe to drill, bore and mill steel parts
The successful candidate will have the drive to learn new skills and improve their abilities in the following:
1. Demonstrated competency in and perform all Fabricator 1 skills requirements
2. Mentor and train Product Fabricator 1 employees
3. Work independently with minimal supervision
4. Assist Mfg. Technicians with tooling and fixture design needs
5. Entry level to intermediate operation of manual lathe and Bridgeport mill
6. Machine, weld and fabricate fixtures and tooling for product manufacturing
7. Fabricate components and parts on the fly and from design sketches
8. Proficient in Aluminum and Stainless-Steel welding for tooling applications and product manufacturing
9. Perform electrical tests ohm, megohm and live power/AC leakage
10. He Leak testing proficiency
11. Review, check & approve manufactured product specifications
12. Trouble shoot and repair equipment and tooling
13. Intermediate knowledge of chemical cleaning processes and procedures
14. Entry level knowledge of heater diagnostics and repair techniques
You will be trained in operation and set-up of this equipment and learn to work autonomously in the production of custom components used in our final products. This position is a great starting point for the right candidate to learn valuable skills and progress with a growing company.
