About Us
WOW Baking Company produces amazingly delicious gluten-free products that are distributed in retail locations throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Sumner, WA, we are a dedicated gluten-free, SQF Certified facility that is looking to add a Maintenance Associate to our team of talented associates.
About the Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all components of our food production facility, as well as performance minor equipment maintenance.
- Disassemble, sanitize and reassemble food processing equipment, including ovens, baggers and depositors
- Ensure floors are clean, and free of debris. Deep cleaning will be performed on a regular basis using an electric floor scrubber
- Operate dish and pan washers
- Ensure trash and recycling throughout the building is collected and disposed of
- Other cleaning tasks required to keep the facility clean and compliant with GMP standards
- Assist as needed in Production
- Perform minor maintenance on production equipment.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Attention to detail and taking pride in your work
- Ability to communicate and read English
- Some industrial cleaning/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work 10 hour shifts, from 9am-7:30pm, Monday through Thursday, overtime occasionally required
- This position could also be Part Time: 2pm-730pm Monday through Thursday
Physical Demands
- Work is performed in an environment that can be noisy, and fluctuate in temperature
- The ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up to 50lb without difficulty
