Arconic is currently in search of Maintenance Document Specialist to join our AEX Business Unit in Lafayette, IN.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years experience in document control/drafting/design
• Experience with scanning drawings and use of electronic document management systems
• Experience with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Proficient MS Office Suite skills
• Experience with databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence with engineering drawings and drawing standards, including familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5M
• Manufacturing experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists engineers in the design of components and systems to maintain, improve, and install new equipment
• Produce ECO drawing updates, BOM’s, and dxf cutfiles using sketches and other information supplied by Engineering
• Organizes, manages, and controls the location’s Engineering Database including the transition of the extensive, existing document library into the new system
• Owns all read/write access/permissions for controlled engineering drawings & literature
• Role reports directly to Maintenance & Engineering Manager
• Strong focus on Safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
