Miller Brother Staffing is recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for our client in Bedford, PA!
Shift: Alternating Shifts: 12pm-8pm M-F, 12pm-8pm Tue-Sat
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Manager job in Bedford PA. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing facility maintenance and repair, including skilled staff, outside contractors, and others. This position requires a strong skill set in Electrical and Automation troubleshooting and repairs including electrical controls and sensors (PLCs, etc.), hydraulics, pneumatics and more.
Responsibilities
- On call Monday through Saturday for questions and support to maintenance technicians
- Services and maintains machines on site, including preventive maintenance, machine breakdowns are repaired, and a current and accurate record of maintenance are completed by team.
- Provides assurance that relevant machines, devices are updated according to company standards
- Ensures and reinforces the exercise of the Health and Safety Program
- Serve as the main contact of the contractors to ensure machinery, devices and sensors are updated and configured.
- Ensures a sound spare part and supplies warehouse and inventory.
- Manages contractors on site.
- Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Leading the skilled Maintenance Team, including hiring, assessing training needs, ensures execution of training, provides an active personal development culture, performance management and more.
Education/Experience:
- Four year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum four years of work experience in a similar industrial facility.
- Must have experience with Computer Control Systems on machines, PLCs, etc.
- Thorough understanding of technical aspects of different types of equipment
- Experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience running a busy department.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
