Bottling Maintenance Mechanic – Elmsford, NY

Description

Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and performing package change-over.

· Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs

· Perform preventative maintenance inspections on equipment

· Overhaul and install new equipment

· Re-buildand fabricate parts

· Perform facility maintenance as needed

· Maintain clean and safe work area

· Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory

· Generate and complete work orders as assigned

· Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups

· This is a union position

This position will very likely be either night shift and/or weekend assignment (exact schedule to be determined upon hire)

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience required for this location

· Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred

· Previous experience working in a bottling plant or with bottling equipment strongly preferred

· Diagnostic/troubleshooting & preventative maintenance experience preferred

· Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical technical aptitude

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and schematics

· Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred

· Must supply own tools

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $37.08 per hour
