SouthEast Properties is looking to add to its TEAM. We are a family owned and operated company with competitive pay. We are looking for a maintenance person to maintain our two shopping centers for us in the Ocala and New Smyrna Beach areas. We offer plenty of on the job training for this position but having a background in construction and misc. repairs is a plus but not mandatory. Don’t miss your opportunity to join a great team. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as picking up trash, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing toilets

• Inspect and troubleshoot roof leaks
• Check functionality of HVAC systems
• Collaborate with tenants and other professionals during business hours
• Report to a property manager for issues

Skills

• Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent

You must have a reliable car/truck for getting around to the two properties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
