As our Maintenance Planner, you'll be working with a highly motivated team skilled in the trade of industrial maintenance! You will be responsible for the planning of non-emergency work for a wide variety of plastics manufacturing equipment, support equipment and general facilities. You will apply your technical experience and organizational skills to investigate and evaluate work requests and resolve the best plan of action. You will follow up on completed work to validate and improve the plan and process. You will use your communication skills and tools to share information with team members, our customers, and your management team to keep partners informed of tasks and equipment status. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the maintenance technicians across all shifts. To be successful in this role you will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to work across all levels and fields in the plant.
Shift available:
Tues - Friday 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- General electrical and mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment
- Ability to collaborate with technicians and engineering to create successful job plans
- Strong controls and automation knowledge including PLC, ladder logic, instrumentation and calibrations.
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, Volt/Ohm meters, amp meters, torque wrenches, cutting and welding equipment
- Personal computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft office and computerized maintenance management systems. SAP or a CMMS a plus.
- Experience working with extrusion, thermoform, and injection mold processing equipment and its support equipment such as material dryers, loaders and transfer systems is preferred
- Upholds the Nike Maxims to create a positive environment and culture for the facility
- Ability to communicate successfully across multiple subject areas in the factory and with vendors
High School diploma or GED- Post high school Technical/Vocational school degree or education or Military related training with industrial electrical experience is preferred
- 5 years manufacturing equipment and facility maintenance or 4 years military equipment maintenance preferred
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing
- Ability to read and understand electrical and fluid power schematics and detailed drawings
- Skilled in trades of fabrication of industrial and manufacturing equipment
- Formal training in Electronics, Control circuitry and PLC’s
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays
- May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine. May be required to sit or stand for long periods, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull
- Able to lift objects to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Able to acquire forklift and man lift operator certification
