Maintenance Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Supervises: maintenance staff, outside cleaning contractors
Classification: Exempt, FT
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three years’ experience in this field preferred.
- Boiler License & HVAC preferred
- Certified Pool operator preferred (will provide training if needed)
- Supervision experience: must be hands on and assist in performing maintenance work.
- Liaise closely with other operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of all systems
Job Summary
Oversee the repairs, installations and upkeep of various buildings and equipment, design maintenance procedures, track & following up with contractors and staff through completion of projects. Track expenses to plan and perform inspections on different facilities to find problems and make repairs. Weekend availability. Attention to detail and ability to recognize cosmetic needs of the club. Supervise staff to ensure all areas are fully cleaned and setup prior to events.
Job Tasks/Duties
· Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations. Team building and able to motivate staff.
· Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
· Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
· Create and implement maintenance procedures.
· Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
· Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
· Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
· Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
· Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
· Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
· Provide incredible customer service to members, or companies that are hired to do work at the club.
· Attend & participate in staff meetings
· Respond to emergencies at various hours
· Issue supplies and equipment to employees
· Oversee outside cleaning company
Licenses and Special Permits
· Water testing and Pool Chemical Certification. Will provide training
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
· Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
· Continuous repetitive motions.
· Work in various climates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
