job summary:
Industry leader seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, and Automation Technicians. You should have maintenance leadership experience from a heavy industrial environment (steel/aluminum, pulp/paper, chemical, etc). You should have a strong mechanical aptitude as well as an understanding of electrical basics and industrial automation (PLCs, HMIs, etc). Day schedule M-F. responsibilities:
- Lead teams of Mechanical Technicians, Industrial Electricians, and Automation Technicians
- Perform production equipment troubleshooting
- Supervise predictive / preventive maintenance activities (PMs)
- Assign and watch over equipment repair and other reactive maintenance activities
- Keep records and logs as necessary
requirements:
- 4-year degree desired
- 3+ years' maintenance supervision experience
- 3+ years' experience out of heavy industrial environments (steel/aluminum, pulp/paper, chemical, etc)
- strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of industrial electrical automation (PLC, HMIs, etc)
- Team-player mindset, good communication skills, positive attitude
