TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Tech

LOCATION: Saint Paul, MN (Onsite)

STATUS: Full-Time

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday- 3:00PM-11:30PM

PAY RANGE: $25.00-30.00 Per Hour

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid at 1.5X regular rate of pay)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs maintenance tasks, including conduct routine (preventative maintenance) PMs, repairs of EVS equipment and responds to Maintenance calls / pager.
• This is accomplished by following practices that meet standards of healthcare industry regulatory guidelines for infection control and environmental safety and in accordance with customer service values and appearance standards.
• This position demonstrates EOC’s commitment to standards of best practices for customer service and for creating a teamwork environment.
• This position will respond to alarms and requests from Engineering staff to assess urgent customer calls for building utilities and other facility concerns.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on all existing and new EVS equipment.
• Diagnoses problems with EVS equipment and corrects repairs and/or sends out for repairs.
• Assists in managing monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules on all major EVS equipment.
• Oversees Vendors completion of PM when appropriate.
• Assists EVS Supervisor in obtaining and maintaining all EVS equipment so that customer service and teamwork expectations are met.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on all existing and new equipment/fixtures/furniture/finishes.
• Performs routine checking and Preventative Maintenance (PM) in facility and associated equipment including but not limited to Dust Collectors, Plaster Traps, Eye Washes, Fire Extinguishers, Fan coils and air filters, Bathroom fixtures (water pressure, etc.), vacuum pumps.
• Works within an electronic work request system (JIRA or similar).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years' work experience in the following facilities maintenance areas (electronics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatics), or school equivalent.
• Experience operating and repairing EVS floor swing machines, auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet and upholstery extractors, and other EVS equipment.
• Experience with repairing or conducting PMs on equipment and fixtures.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Accustomed to a computerized work request system.
