Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Excel Manufacturing, Inc., located in Seymour in Eastside Industrial Park, is now hiring for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.

Job responsibilities include:

-Preventive maintenance on a weekly, monthly, and yearly schedule as needed
-Troubleshooting down equipment
-Bending, crawling, climbing in and around equipment
-Installing new equipment and automation
-General maintenance of facilities as needed
-Working as a team to balance priorities and needs on an evolving basis
-Documenting work done

Minimum Requirements:

-Understanding of mechanical and electrical prints
-Understanding of machine diagrams
-Ability to follow directions
-Demonstrate a high level of initiative
-Ability to make practical suggestions
-Work well as a group or solo
-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
-Highschool diploma or equivalent

Preferred Capabilities:

-Robotic maintenance or programming (Fanuc and Motoman)
-CNC experience (Mazak, Makino, OKK, and Okuma)
-High mechanical aptitude
-Forklift experience

As the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, expect to cover a wide variety of needs on a daily basis. The position is an integral part for manufacturing upkeep, process improvements, new line installs, and technical support for the plant. You will be working either as a team or by yourself to fix or troubleshoot issues. You will also be asked to assist with new line and machine installs.

Starting pay is based on experience/education with 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews to discuss improvements and proven abilities.
