Montefiore New Rochelle, a community based hospital which is part of the Montefiore Health System, is seeking a full time Mammography Technologist to join our team.

Job Duties Include:

• Produce digital diagnostic and screening breast imaging of patients and submit them to radiologist for interpretation.
• Assists the radiologist with the performance of breast biopsy procedures
• Evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed.
• Follows the departmental exam process which incorporates National Patient Safety Goals.

Education and Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent/college preferred.
• Graduate of a two year school for radiological technologists.
• Registration: A.R.R.T. certification required
• Certification in Mammography
• Licensed by the state of New York
• Prior work experience as a mammography technician.
