Job description

As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant Manager, you will be involved in training and supporting drive-in restaurant employees, ensuring that food is delivered in a clean, safe and efficient manner and that our customers have an excellent experience.

As a Manager, your duties include:

• Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality food, courteous employees and quick response to needs. Individual must be comfortable with addressing and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
• Assists drive-in management in implementing the restaurant plan in order to meet established operating standards, sales and profits.
• Assists in training and motivating crew members and performing the work functions in the Stations as needed.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards
• Individual will work with management in a manner that helps control costs and assists in managing daily operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedule for the needs of the business and to perform open / closing duties
• Strong Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead team members
• Individual must be a Team Player willing to meet and exceed drive – in goals and objectives, open communication, cleanliness and safety

Additional Manager Requirements:

• Candidate must have a valid drivers license. Minimum 1-year experience as a restaurant manager or similar experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields are preferred
• Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
• Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
