Job Summary and Scope of Responsibilities:

The Dental Program Manager provides effective and functional leadership for dental clinical operations at Neighborcare Health. The Dental Program Manager directly reports to the Director of Clinical Operations (DCO), to ensure connection and partnership with operations and other leaders; however, this role also has a direct and strong partnership with the Chief Dental Officer (CDO) and works on executing strategies and goals of the dental program.

Primary Responsibilties:

  • Work collaboratively with Chief Dental Officer to accomplish key goals and initiatives for the dental program, including the School Based Dental Program
  • Responsible for the delivery of quality dental clinical operations, including financial stewardship and budget goals
  • Set the tone for patient service and patient experience through activities and initiatives, as well as supporting resolution of patient concerns and feedback
  • Partner with other teams and departments to drive change and lead and sustain improvement in clinical setting, such as workforce development, revenue cycle, and scheduling management
  • Collaborate with the Quality Team, site clinical staff and providers on panel management, population health and care gap closure.
  • Lead Dental Operations and Dental Leadership meetings to achieve program goals
  • Supervise the Dental Clinic Administrators and provide support/mentorship to the Associate Clinic Administrators
  • Mentor and coach clinic administrators and staff to achieve their greatest success
  • Direct fiscal, service, and quality goals of the dental clinical operations and create an environment of accountability in every role
  • Support increased patient access and organization growth by leading the expansion of services and sites
  • Look externally for best practices and collaborate actively with external partners and organizations for shared learning
  • Strong engagement with outside partners, both public and private, to expand partnership opportunities, problem solve system issues, and advocate for Neighborcare Health programs and patients
  • Strong engagement with community partners to enhance services, program effectiveness, and reduce disparities.
  • Represent the organization as necessary at meetings with organizations serving the communities we serve.
  • Ability to make decisions and influence others for success
  • Facilitate trust and teamwork, fostering superior communication skills and change management skills
  • Sets the tone for positive patient service and patient and staff experience by meeting and leading to Neighborcare Health’s Service Commitments: a warm welcome; respect; caring; working together and trusting relationship

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare leadership

or

  • Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or similar field

Years of Relevant Experience Required:

  • Three of more years of Healthcare Management/Supervisory experience

Years of Relevant Experience Preferred:

  • Dental or community health center environment experience
  • Experience with supervision and management of a team

Compensation

The wage range for this position is minimum $114,920.00 up to $159,286.40 maximum.

Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
